Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics
In 2021, Caitlin Thibault completed her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University. Along with her Mathematics concentration, Thibault also completed minors in Economics and Educational Studies, in order to add notes of specialization to her Bachelor’s degree. All throughout her undergraduate studies, Thibault maintained a clear focus on her ultimate goal of becoming a Mathematics teacher. In preparation for her future role as an educator, she completed a Student Teacher Internship at Fairfield Woods Middle School, during her undergraduate enrollment.
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Secondary Education Mathematics
Following commencement of her undergraduate studies and after receiving her Bachelor of Science, Caitlin Thibault’s next step came naturally. Eager to solidify her specialization early on into her career, the aspiring educator enrolled at Fairfield University yet again; this time, in pursuit of her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Secondary Education Mathematics. Thibault decided to pursue this graduate degree directly after completing her Bachelor’s, in order to strengthen her intended area of specialization and expertise. Considering education a true labor of love, this decision came naturally to the aspiring educator who truly loves learning!
Professional Experience
Caitlin Thibault currently works as a Student Teacher at Tomlinson Middle School, in tandem with her graduate studies at Fairfield University. On a freelance basis, Thibault also works as an Academic Tutor, a role she has maintained since 2017. During her undergraduate studies pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, she participated in an Internship at Fairfield Woods Middle School, where she worked closely with a math teacher and even organized activities for the Math Club. With her future career focus clear in her sights, the aspiring educator has established a solid background in child care and early education. Additional roles that she has maintained outside of the classroom include:

- Child Caretaker / Babysitter at Care.com (2014 — 2020)
